‘Funky Biggie Smalls’

This set of five nesting tables were not in bad condition, they are teak and we believe were made in the 1960's. We couldn't resist funking them up though with leopard print decoupage paper. Firstly they were all sanded and primed, then we painted them twice with liquorice chalky flat matt paint. We decoupaged the large one first with a mix of brown and pink leopard print paper tearing up each piece and gluing on with PVA.

Once that had dried we then painted the decoupaged area with five coats of PVA and then five coats of matt varnish. We then decoupaged the four small round tables two in pink and two in brown. These tables look wicked and are great space savers, Funky Biggie Smalls is here to rock your lounge, hall, bedroom or anywhere for that matter!
