‘Becky’

This 1940's chest of drawers was dated and waiting for a bit of tlc, so we cracked on and sanded the piece, primed it and then painted it with Aladdin chalky flat matt twice. We then decoupaged the drawer fronts using the most beautiful plum, green and pink floral patterned decoupage paper. Once the paper had been glued on and dried we then painted five coats of PVA and then five coats of matt varnish. The original handles were replaced then the painted areas were waxed then buffed.

Now she looks absolutely fabulous and deserving of that chance to be loved and used again. Becky has now been sold although if a similar piece is required then please don't hesitate to contact us to discuss.
